Role: Commissioned work
Hidden Temple is a startup apparel company, who were looking to create a brand that has a dark, mysterious and edgy vibe to it. Their target audience being hipsters aged 25-45.
I liked the idea of using a triangle for negative space, as it represents the shape of the top of a temple as well as adding to the mysterious aspect. I chose this typeface because it reminds me of the pillars from an old school roman temple.
I wanted to use more typography manipulation for the submark logo so that the mysterious feel flows through nicely. I really liked the H from the logo, so I took that and manipulated a T into it, so it reads T + H, thus keeping it simple, effective and instantly recognisable.
